Your wedding is not just any event.
It is an experience shared with the people who have shaped your life and your story.
My role is to create space for you to fully experience you day, while thoughtfully documenting the emotions, the connections, the atmosphere and the details you so carefully chose.
Storytelling
Quiet observation is what has inspired me to approach weddings more naturally, allowing things to happen as they are, and stepping in with gentle direction when needed.
I believe more in unfiltered moments over staged photos. The truth is, the photos you'll return to over and over again won't be the perfectly composed ones, it'll be the ones that make you feel.

From our first phone call through to your wedding day, I will be getting to know you and preparing us both for a seamless experience. I customize my approach for each couple based on what matters most to you.

I want you to be present so I can document you and your loved ones connecting, while also making sure you get jaw dropping and artistic photos for you to swoon over.
I will guide you toward the best natural light whenever possible and work closely with your planner to build a timeline that ensures theres space to create without compromising experience.
It's not uncommon for me to bring backdrops, props and fun new tools to create something different just for you.

Once we’ve determined which collection is best for you and have confirmed your date I will prepare a photography contract for your review. I ask that you sign and return it within 7 days so I can ensure your date is available. I require a 50% non-refundable retainer to block out your date in my schedule. Once both the retainer and contract are received, it’s official, you’re booked! Your final payment is due 30 days before your wedding date.
All of my collections include travel fees. This includes local weddings as well as destination weddings. I provide custom proposals for each and every client because I believe that each celebration is unique, and so should the collection be that you choose. This way you get exactly what you want, and nothing that you don’t.
Unfortunately no. Regardless if your wedding is in off season, on a Sunday, Thursday or Friday, the same amount of effort goes into planning, preparing, shooting and editing your wedding. I need all the same equipment, and offering discounts isn’t fair to those who have booked me at full rates. The only exception may be if you’re travelling to one of my bucket list locations.
This is an amazing opportunity for us to meet, get more comfortable with one another, and create lasting memories for the two of you. It’s an opportunity for me to see what works best for you two, and what doesn’t and to find the magic that makes you two look your absolute best. All of my collections are custom designed for you, so if it’s not something you’re interested in just let me know.
I do not offer videography, but if you decide to work with me I am more than happy to give you recommendations for my favourite vendors. I have a list of preferred vendors for Kristen Elizabeth couples.
Your experience is of utmost importance to me, which is why I want to get your photos back as quickly as possible to you. However, I will never compromise quality and I give great attention to detail with each and every photo. Engagement and couples sessions are returned in 3-4 weeks, and the longest wait time you can expect for your wedding is 10-12 weeks.
I don’t have a minimum or maximum when it comes to the number of photos you receive. I believe every good photo belongs to you so I will not hold any back. A good rule of thumb is roughly 50 photos per hour of coverage, but this can vary. Factors to consider are the hours of coverage, size of the wedding, size of your family, whether or not you have a wedding party, if you have lots of details vs. very minimal. I believe in quality over quantity so I prefer to deliver you the best of the best instead of a bunch of duplicates and fillers.
I offer both, but I am currently mainly shooting digital. Film can be added on to your wedding collection if this is something that’s calling you. I shoot on 35mm film, and both film and digital images are processed and presented cohesively.

My love for travelling is what provoked me to ever pick up a camera. Fascinated by some of the worlds most beautiful locations, I fell in love with how I see the world. I have visited over 21 countries across 6 continents and travel has always been my greatest source of inspiration. My family is my motivation for everything I do, and they are my reminder that being present with the people we love is so important.
I have a deep love for food and creating in the kitchen. I'm passionate about feeding my people and I love the way food brings people together. I can't eat food that isn't aesthetically pleasing and, I'm pretty sure my Italian descent blessed me in the kitchen - but also made me a food snob.
